Mindy Reagan '19
class of 2025
Mindy Reagan is a proud graduate of the Bicentennial Class of 2019. She majored in Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal Music. While at Maryville College, Mindy was involved in many aspects of campus life such as the Student Programming Board, Admissions Ambassadors, Chapel Scholar, Peer Mentors, Concert Choir, Off-Kilter, and Lassies. Mindy was also the Senior Class President for the Class of 2019 and was an Outstanding Senior nominee in 2019. Ms. Reagan says that the best part about being at Maryville College was having the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment of support and love. Since graduating, Mindy works for Blount County Schools as an Elementary Music Educator. As an educator, she uses the skills and tools she learned while at Maryville College to provide a learning environment in which her students feel loved and supported no matter their external circumstances. She was honored to receive a grant for ukuleles in the spring of 2021 and can't wait to get back to making music with her students after such a difficult school year in 2020. Ms. Reagan continues to serve the Maryville College community as a member of the Blount County Alumni Association where she helps to coordinate the Homecoming Craft Festival. Maryville College has forever held a special place in Mindy's heart since she was a young child. Her grandfather, Galen Johnson '52, was an active alumni who would take her to basketball games, homecoming events, and Maryville College Choir concerts. Mindy believes that a piece of her heart truly belongs to the people and campus of Maryville College.
